Fine Gael TD Joe McHugh and Cllr. JimmyKavanagh have welcomed the designation of €33,000 by the Department of Transport for renewal works on 300 metres of footpath connecting LYIT, Ballyraine NS and Letterkenny Educate Together School with the Town Centre.
Commenting, Cllr. Kavanagh said:
“This issue arose on several doorsteps in the Ballyraine area during the general election canvass with Joe McHugh, and I am pleased that the Department of Transport has agreed to provide funding for renewal works. I understand that the work will commence shortly.”
