Eucharistic Adoration

Evening Masses
There will be evening Masses on Wed/Thurs/Fri of this coming week at 7.30pm as listed. At each Mass there will be Blessing of St. Brigid Crosses, Candles and Throats.

Catholic Schools Week (29 Jan to 4th Feb) is to highlight and celebrate the wonderful contribution that Catholic Schools make to our local communities and society in general. This years theme is Catholic Schools: Christ's living Body Active in our World.

“You Shall be my Witnesses”
There was almost 100% attendance on Monday last for the Confirmation programme. Parents are asked to have the children at the venue five minutes before 8.00 pm on Monday next (30 Jan). Parents are invited to wait in the school or return at 8.45pm to take part in the prayer section.

International Eucharistic Congress takes place in Dublin from 10-17 June with the first 6 days in the RDS and the final Mass in Croke Park on 17th.
Tickets for Sunday 17th June are allocated to parishes on the basis of population. Our parish has been allocated eleven tickets. Priority will be given to members of the Pastoral Council and to those in different Ministries in each church but anybody can apply as extra tickets might become available. Anybody who attends 3 or more days of the Congress will be assured a ticket outside this allocation. If you are interested give Marie Molloy your name on or before Thurs 9 Feb. 094 9546030

Boxes of Envelopes
New boxes of envelopes for weekly church collection start next weekend (4/5 Feb). The names are on the boxes in each church porch and you are asked to take one with your name. Anybody who did not have a box last year and wishes to have please contact the parish office 094 9546030
Pro-Life Trust will hold a Church Gate Collection in the parish this weekend 28th & 29th January.
TG4 G-Team Coverage continues on Sundays @ 8pm and on Wednesdays @ 8.30pm. No news of when the Cong v. Freshford will be shown. Stay tuned!
The Neale Community Parent and Toddler Group hold their 'get togethers' on Wed mornings from 9.30am to 12 noon in the Neale Playschool Building. Parents, Guardians, Grandparents, Au-pairs, Childminders.... all welcome. Find us on Facebook.

The family of the late Stephen Lydon would like to thank everyone who contributed to the collection box at his funeral in December. €440 was collected and all proceeds went to the local St. Vincent De Paul in Ballinrobe in time for Christmas.

Card Games Card Games continue on Thursday next February 2nd at 8.30pm.The venue is The Crow's Nest. All proceeds in aid of Community Centre Development.

Cunga Cycling and Triathlon Club are holding an Open/Registration Day in Lydon's Lodge on Sunday 5th February from 12.30pm to 2.00pm .All abilities and ages are welcome please come along and chat with us.
