Neighbourhood Watch.
The opening monthly meeting for 2009 will take place this Monday 26th January at 8.30pm in Sullivan’s Hotel. All zone leaders & co ordinators are required to attend.
Grant aided alarm systems are available to the elderly people over 65, who are living alone or with an incapacitated spouse or partner. Please refer to the “Neighbourhood Watch” notice in the Church Porch.

Recent Deaths.
Please pray for the repose of the souls of Catherine Noone (nee Dalton) Ceannahowna & Chicago, Maggie Connors, Kilchreest mother of Carmel Mulcair, Circular Rd, Angela Surman, Burren View & Mary Carew, Ballyboy. May they rest in peace.

Volunteers Required at Gort Cancer Support.
Goer Cancer Support offer support and practical assistance to anyone affected by cancer. We are currently recruiting volunteers to staff our centre in Gort. Anyone who would like to be part of this valued team is welcome to join us. No experience is necessary as training is provided. Flexible hours apply. Gort Active Retirement Association News.
The Annual General Meeting of the Gort Active Retirement Association will take place on Wednesday 28th January in the Social Service Centre at 8pm. All members old and new are invited to attend.

Camogie Club AGM.
AGM will be held next Wednesday 28th January at 8.30pm in the GAA Clubhouse.

Parenting Course.
The free course aims to develop good communication skills with teenagers. It is organised by the Gort District Women’s Group and is facilitated by the HSE west. It commences at the Family resource Centre on Tuesday 27th January from 10.30am– 12.30pm for six weeks. If you are interested please contact the centre @ 091 630902.

Convent Primary School Annual Church Gate Collection.
Collection will take place next weekend Saturday 31st January and Sunday 1st February. Please give generously.
