Old Presentation Convent

Listowel family resource centre staged its second grandparents tea party on Thursday afternoon which has been hailed as a success by its organisers.
The grandparents in attendance chatted to each other as well as spending time with their grandchildren. The children enjoyed the arts/crafts and had great fun with the family party games.
The most popular activity of the afternoon was the cookie and cake decorating as the children enjoyed designing and later eating their own tea-party treat.
The event has provided an opportunity for grandparents and their grandchildren to spend time playing and socialising with other family in the community. The next party will be advertised in September. For further details contact Listowel Family Resource Centre on (068) 23584.
