Desmond Complex Events

Our next Fun Day will be Wednesday April 4. All the usual activities will take place and we again hope for a large attendance. We would again like to remind people to contact Brendan on (069) 84069 to enable us to have a good approximation on numbers. We would like to thank those from Cahirdavin, Askeaton and Kilmeedy that attended our last Fun Day. It added enormously to the enjoyment of the event. Hope to see them back soon.

We will have another Tea-Dinner dance on Friday March 23. This will again include a four course meal starting at 3:00 pm for approximately one hour with dancing and music starting at 4:00 pm and lasting until 6:30 pm. Membership of any club, organisation or being a regular attendee of the complex is not a requirement for attendance of this event so everyone is welcome. Intended participants should contact Brendan on (069) 84069 or the Desmond Complex on (069) 62757. Fees will be similar to our Fun Days.

For all those thinking of attending this years annual holiday please take note of the following change to the previous planned dates. We are now planning to depart on Sunday August 26 and return on Friday August 31. Our destination remains Devon and Cornwall in South west England. The Duke of Cornwall hotel in Plymouth will be our primary lodgings. Bookings can be secured by ringing Brendan on (069) 84069, a deposit of €200 per person will be required.

We would also like to remind people about the hospitalities offered by the Desmond Complex. Dinners are available on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays of every week which can be enjoyed with music on most days. Groups can also be accommodated but require advance bookings by ringing the office on (069) 62757 during normal working hours
