Salmon Weirs

All activities are going well and being enjoyed. Music Circle begins again this afternoon in the Library at 3.00 p.m. Irish classes have been postponed for now due to Frankie being ill.

Our Indoor Picnic was a huge success. We had guests from Foxford, Swinford, Crossmolina, Attymass, Galway, Lacken, Charlestown, Over 55 Club and Bangor Erris (apologies if I left anyone out). Some of our own members did a short comedy sketch which proved very funny, and Michael Fox provided the music for dancing. A brilliant day enjoyed with many friends.

The monthly visit to Attymass on the 15th was said to be very good, as usual. Our Table Quiz on the 16th was very well attended and proved to be enjoyable and good fun. Paddy said he was surprised at some of the answers he got. The next Quiz will take place in January 2012.

Everything is now booked and paid for with respect to our holiday in Donegal 21st to 25th November. The Christmas Dinner Dance is now booked for Friday 16th December, and Michael Fox will provide the music to dance to.

To close this session of meetings we will hold one of our 'Fun Days' on 15th December.
