It has been a busy summer despite the bad weather and the grounds are looking very good. The addition of our bird houses has added great interest around our seating area.
Our new session of computer classes has proved very popular and continues twice weekly for the next few weeks. The “fit for life” exercise group meet every Tuesday morning for an hour of exercise, refreshments followed by a game of “Boccia”. They are a very competitive and often I am called upon to take out the measuring tape to decide the winning ball!!
We recently welcomed our new Parish Priest, Fr. Michael Harrison to say our annual mass of “thanks” and to partake in a very enjoyable social evening which ended with a cracking card game.
We are also very pleased to announce that we now have full occupation in our 20 houses.
