Kilmaine GAA Lotto
There was no winner of the €5,100 Jackpot in the Kilmaine GAA Lotto draw on Saturday October 29. The draw took place in Harry Walsh's Bar and the numbers drawn were 3, 8, 9 ,and 27 .The €30 winners were Margaret Kirrane, Gortjordan, Pat Morris, Hollymount, and Joey Maloney, Kilmaine.
The annual prizes were won by Pat Igoe, c/o Connaught Gold, Ballinrobe and Patrick Patton, Cloghans Hill.
The house prize winners were won by Harry Walsh, Kilmaine and Amanda Doherty, Islandmore.

Christmas Shoe Box Appeal for needy Children
For anyone wishing to contribute to this very worthy cause, you can get information and brochures in Walsh's Centra, Kilmaine or from Margaret Doherty on 087 7945432. Remember the boxes need to be handed in by Friday November 11.

Scrap Metal
Kilmaine G.A.A. club is providing a free waste metal collection to help raise funds for the club. All unwanted metals such as old gates, sheeting, cars, tractor batteries and old machinery are all welcome. Kilmaine Scribbles Playgroup Ltd. is holding its Annual General Meeting on November 9 in Scribbles childcare facility at 9pm .A parent/carer from each family using the service must attend on the night.

Shrule Community Centre Book Shop
Shrule Community Centre is opening a bookshop on Friday November 11 at 11 am. There will be tea and coffee available, we are hoping to have the hall open to the community every Friday morning for a few hours so that people will come out and meet up with friends at the centre for some social interaction and activities. We are also looking for books and volunteers to help out. Anyone interested can call 086 390 75 81.

Copper Hunt for Tanzania

AL-ANON Meeting
Al – Anon Family Group Meeting will be held in Crann Mor Centre, Ballinrobe on Sunday night at 8.30pm.Al-anon is a support group for anybody whose life is affected by anyone else's drinking.

Care and Repair Programme
Clar ICH's Care and Repair Programme carries out minor repairs in the homes of older people. If you are an older person living alone and need a small job completed, please contact Clar ICH on 094 9373455. Jobs range from replacing light bulbs to fitting door chains and spy – holes or smoke alarms, putting up shelves etc. Jobs should take no more than an hour and a half. Clar ICH is a Voluntary Housing Association located in Claremorris, Co. Mayo. Care and Repair is a franchise of Age Action and is delivered in association with the Rural Social Scheme, administered by South West Mayo Development and Tus.


Womens Group
A Meeting of the Ballinrobe womens group will be held in Crann Mor Centre on Monday November 7 at 8.30pm. New members are welcome.
