“Strictly Come Dancing” in Kilmaine
Remember places are limited for the upcoming show of ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ which is coming to Kilmaine in the next few months. The night promises to be great fun and one to remember! The organising committee are currently looking for couples to take part and don’t worry if your dancing is a bit rusty because there will be plenty of lessons before the event!
If you are interested in taking part please contact Padraig Varley on 087 7767961 or email kilmainegaa@gmail.com as soon as possible, however please keep in mind that lessons will take place in the Kilmaine area so you will need to be able to travel there at least once a week. We look forward to hearing from you!"

Sympathies
The sympathy of the community is extended to the Langan and Mc Nicholas families on the death of Bridie Langan (nee McNicholas), Shrulegrove . Her remains were in repose at Craddock's Funeral home, on Tuesday November 15 with removal to St. Joseph's Church, Shrule. Requiem Mass took place on Wednesday morning with burial afterwards in Shrule cemetery. Our sympathy is also extended to the Reynolds and Greaney families on the death of Nora Reynolds, Shrule. Her remains were in repose at Craddock's Funeral home, on Thursday November 17 with removal to St. Joseph's Church, Shrule. Burial took place on Friday November 18 after 12 noon Mass to Shrule cemetery. May they rest in peace.

Kilmaine Cemeteries
The graveyard committee wish to inform the public that Mayo County Council are no longer emptying skips in graveyards. In future skips must be emptied privately. This can be costly due to weight, so now the graveyard committee are asking people not to put stones or clay in the skip. As and from today all stones and clay must be removed from the graveyard by the gravediggers or the owners of the graves.
