Parish Mission: A group called St Patrick’s Community will be giving a Mission in our parish from 22nd to 26th February 2010. They will speak at all weekend Masses in the parish just before the Mission. Each night has a different theme with testimonies from the group, prayer, music and a lot more. Hour of Prayer in cathedral: To mark the Year for Priests, Bishop Kelly would like to invite all those who are involved in adoration of the Blessed Sacrament in their parishes (and anybody else who would like to come) to St Nathy’s Cathedral in Ballaghaderreen on Sunday evening, January 31st at 7.00 pm. The Holy Hour will consist of a time of adoration of the Blessed Sacrament, a talk from the bishop and the Evening Prayer of the Church. Haiti Collection: All contributions placed in the baskets at all Masses in the parish next weekend will be forwarded to Trocaire to help the people of Haiti following the recent earthquake there.
