JEWELLERY WORKSHOP: Jewellery workshops will be held in the Enniscrone Tourist Information Centre for the month of June. Learn how to create beautiful jewellery with little or no experience, using basic techniques of jewellery making. WEDDING: Congratulations to Bridget Swift, Enniscrone and P.J. O’Hara Ballisodare who were married in St.Joseph's Church Castleconnor on Sat June 2. The reception was held in the Diamond Coast Hotel. Bridget & P.J. are wished a long and happy life together.

ANTE-NATAL CLASSES: Ante- Natal Classes will commence on Wed June 20 in Enniscrone Primary Care Centre. Time: 3.30 -5pm. All welcome.

“IT'S THE REAL McCOY”: Making its way to Castleconnor, a Brand New 3-Act Irish Comedy that will have you in stitches. Written and Directed by Tommy Marren (Midwest Radio). The follow –up play to the “Banshee of Crokey Hill”. The play will held in Castleconnor Community Centre on Sat September 29 and Sun September 30. This is a fundraiser in aid of Kilglass N.S and Castleconnor Community Centre. Tickets will go on sale in the coming weeks and are priced at €15each. Play starts at 8pm. SLIGO VOLUNTEERING CENTRE: Sligo Volunteering centre help people who want to volunteer by providing lots of volunteering options plus advice and support to get started. Advertise for volunteers on behalf of local community groups. Provide training and support to groups around managing volunteers. 7. Volunteer Soccer Coaches – Enniscrone.
8. Office Assistant & Information Giver required at Easkey Community Centre.
9. Volunteers for Sligo Civil Defence. Multi-skilled training sessions – Enniscrone, Dromore West & Easkey.
10. Volunteers to deliver meals on wheels in Easkey area.
11. Entertainer/musician to help entertain people with a disability.
12. Facilitate art and craft activities for people with a disability.

Festival:
Castleconnor GAA Club host their second Novel Cow Dung Festival on the
weekend of 18/19th August. Gerry Guthrie and his country band take to
the wonderful new stage in the Castleconnor Community Centre on the
Saturday night along with Pat's Country Roadshow. Details of all other
events are to be confirmed shortly.

CASTLECONNOR GAA: Condolences: Castleconnor GAA club would like to express their deepest sympathies to the Murphy family of Clonnkeelaun on the death of Paddy. Paddy was a founder member of the club in the late sixties and was a trustee of St.Brendan's Park. To Bernie and family, his sisters and his brothers who all played for the red and white we offer our heartfelt sympathies. The Club held a guard of honour at his removal which was very much deserved.

Lotto:
Castleconnor GAA Lotto Jackpot stands at €16,800 as there was no
winner of the draw last weekend in Mahony's Bar, Numbers drawn were
12,14, 30 and 31. Roger Cawley, Carrowcarden matched three numbers.
The next draw takes place in Muddy Burns on Saturday 16th June.
